Description

The Acoustic Revive RUT-1K is a USB terminator that plugs into unused USB ports on CD/SACD players, DACs and PCs.

Signal Termination and Power Filtering

Many products for unused USB ports only filter the USB bus power. According to Acoustic Revive, the RUT-1K is unique in also terminating the USB signal circuit with a quality resistor, in addition to a filter on the bus-power circuit, shutting out noise from both.

Vibration Control

USB ports are mounted on soft boards that resonate with external vibration. A natural quartz resonator inside the RUT-1K damps this resonance.

Kiyoseki Treatment and Selected Parts

Kiyoseki treatment inside suppresses static, and electronic parts are selected for sound quality.

Type-B Ports

The RUT-1K has a USB Type-A shape, but can be used on Type-B ports with a commercially available Type-A to Type-B adapter (not included).
