Description

The ACROLINK 7N-A2400 Leggenda is a 2-core interconnect cable, available with RCA or XLR connectors. ACROLINK's 7N copper is guaranteed to contain no more than 0.00001% of all impurities.

Conductor

Two conductors of 7N Cu D.U.C.C. Stressfree copper (0.26mm × 19 strands each) are twisted at high density and optimal tension in opposite directions while being coated with squalane oil, and insulated with high-purity polyolefin.

Silk Thread, Inner Sheath and Double Shield

Silk thread between the conductors strengthens static removal, and the inner sheath is high-performance polyolefin mixed with amorphous powder to suppress unwanted vibration. Outside it, a double shield of copper foil tape and a UEW + silver-plated annealed copper braid is applied, and the cable is finished with a UV-resistant polyurethane outer sheath.

Connectors

RCA: Inherited from the previous 7N-A2400 III. The body is machined from solid iron-free tellurium copper, the center pin is hollow, and the cover is aluminum and carbon fiber to disperse resonance and reject external noise. Contacts: hollow tellurium copper (center) and beryllium copper (cold) with thick direct rhodium plating.

XLR: The upper-grade connectors from the 8N-A2080 Performante, with direct rhodium plated tellurium copper (male) and beryllium copper (female) contacts, in a brass + carbon fiber body.

7N Cu D.U.C.C. (Dia Ultra Crystallized Copper): a high-purity copper conductor for audio cables developed by Mitsubishi Cable Industries, with crystal grains grown to dozens of times the size of ordinary pure copper and aligned crystal orientation. Stressfree: ACROLINK's special annealing process that lets the conductor restore its structure through self-annealing.
