Description

The DENON DP-400 is a manual belt-drive turntable that comes ready to play, with an MM cartridge pre-mounted on the headshell and a built-in phono equalizer.

Playback

A belt-drive platter with a DC servo motor and rotation control keeps the speed accurate. It plays 33-1/3, 45 and 78 RPM records, including shellac records.

The traditional S-shaped universal tonearm is statically balanced, with tracking force adjustable from 0 to 4.0 g in 0.1 g steps. When a record ends, the tonearm lifts and the platter stops automatically.

Phono equalizer

The built-in MM-compatible phono equalizer lets you connect the turntable directly to an amplifier that has no PHONO input.

Design

A glossy cabinet with a matte anodized tonearm, available in Black or White. The removable dust cover also works as a stand for displaying the record sleeve.
