Description

The FOSTEX T60RPmk2 is a semi-open, wired over-ear headphone with a full-surface-drive RP planar diaphragm and housings carved from solid black walnut.

Driver

A 4th-generation RP driver with more magnets and a redesigned printed coil pattern. According to Fostex, the driver is manufactured in-house at its own factory.

Housing and Fit

The semi-open housings are carved from solid black walnut, so the wood grain differs from unit to unit. The ear pads are low-resilience, around-ear pads. Optional Ultrasuede ear pads are sold separately.

Cable

Each housing has its own connector, and the included Y-cable is a 2 m OFC cable that ends in a 3.5 mm stereo mini plug. A balanced 4.4 mm cable (ET-RP4.4BL2Y) is sold separately.
