Description

The OYAIDE ACROSS 3000 is the core speaker cable of Oyaide's lineup, with cumulative shipments of the ACROSS series exceeding 100,000 meters. This ready-made version is terminated with Oyaide's SGBN banana plugs (ACROSS 3000 SGB) or SGSL Y-lugs (ACROSS 3000 SGY), and is tuned with Oyaide's NRF-005T noise suppression tape.

Conductor

The 3.0sq conductor (37 strands) uses Oyaide's precision 102 SSC copper with the patented 3E twist structure, which combines strands of three different diameters to minimize gaps and keep the conductor perfectly round, stabilizing the electrical characteristics.

C.I.S Structure

Oyaide's original cross-insulated stabilizer (C.I.S) structure supports the conductor at points rather than surfaces. The air layers act as a damper and greatly reduce capacitance. The cross insulator is high-polymer polyolefin with a dielectric constant about 1/4 that of PVC, and the outer sheath is an audio-grade halogen-free sheath developed by Furukawa Electric.

Plugs

SGB (banana plug): 8 SGBN banana plugs, CNC-machined from springy phosphor bronze, hand-buffed and plated with pure silver underlayer + thick 24K gold. The tip diameter is designed around WBT speaker terminals and verified with other terminals. Each plug uses two 5mm stainless steel set screws for secure contact.

SGY (Y-lug): 8 SGSL Y-lugs made of RoHS-compliant brass, plated with pure silver underlayer + thick 24K gold.

The plugs are fastened with torque-controlled screws and sealed with adhesive-lined cross-linked polyolefin heat-shrink tubing to prevent oxidation.

NRF-005T Noise Suppression Tape

Oyaide's non-magnetic NRF-005T tape, made with Asahi Kasei's PULSHUT®, is applied at the speaker-side split to suppress electric-field noise by converting it into Joule heat. Because the cable is tuned with this tape, connect it so that the signal flows in the direction of the arrows printed on the cable.

102 SSC: Oyaide's precision copper conductor. Only virgin copper conforming to JIS C1011, with no recycled copper, is used. Surface impurities are removed 100% by peeling, the wire is drawn with natural diamond dies to a tolerance of ±1μm, and it is annealed twice. Conductivity: 102.3% IACS.
