Description

The OYAIDE ACROSS 750 RR V2 is the core RCA interconnect of Oyaide's lineup, combining the ACROSS 750 V2 cable with dedicated rhodium-plated RCA plugs.

Conductor

The center conductor is Oyaide's precision 102 SSC (0.75sq, 19 strands) with the patented 3E twist structure, which combines strands of three different diameters to minimize gaps and keep the conductor perfectly round.

C.I.S Structure

Oyaide's original cross-insulated stabilizer (C.I.S) structure supports the center conductor at points rather than surfaces in a coaxial layout. The air layers act as a damper that releases vibration and lowers capacitance to improve high-frequency characteristics. The cross insulator is high-polymer polyolefin, whose dielectric constant is about 1/4 that of PVC.

Shield and Sheath

The shield is a spiral of 100 strands of 0.18mm 102 SSC wire. The sheath is Oyaide's audio-grade halogen-free sheath in “Beluga” (caviar black), marked “ACROSS750 V2” and “102SSC”. Note: this sheath material can turn whitish when rubbed. This does not affect the sound and can be wiped with a soft cloth.

RCA Plugs

The dedicated RCA plugs (SRR-8, not sold separately) use a RoHS-compliant brass tubular center pin, 0.5μ rhodium plating on all contacts and PTFE internal insulation. The outer shell is NC-machined, knurled and chrome-plated. From parts sourcing to precision machining, the plugs are made entirely in Japan.

Solder

The plugs are soldered with Oyaide's SS-47 audio-grade lead-free silver solder (4N high-purity tin, 4.7% silver, 1.7% copper).

102 SSC: Oyaide's precision copper conductor. Only virgin copper conforming to JIS C1011, with no recycled copper, is used. Surface impurities are removed 100% by peeling, the wire is drawn with natural diamond dies to a tolerance of ±1μm, and it is annealed twice. Conductivity: 102.3% IACS.
