Description

The OYAIDE C-279 is an IEC connector designed for 20A IEC inlets, with phosphor bronze electrodes plated with thick 24K gold.

Electrodes

The blade-receiving part is 1.4mm thick phosphor bronze for a firm hold, with a plug holding force of 7 kg or more (a normal load is 3 to 5 kg). The blanks are barrel-polished, hand buffed one by one and directly plated with thick 24K gold (2.0μ) to a mirror finish. The blade-to-cable pull strength is 30 kg or more.

Body and Cover

The body is PBT with 30% glass fiber, with custom stainless steel screws. The cover is thick polycarbonate, chosen for strength and hardness.

Cable Clamp

Accepts cable outer diameters from 6.0mm to 16.0mm. The maximum conductor size is AWG10 (5.5sq), or 10sq in total when two 5.5sq cables are used.

Each connector is shipped in an original can case with a serial-numbered hologram seal.
