Description

The OYAIDE d+ RCA for TurnTable classB (NEO by Oyaide) is an RCA cable for turntables with an integrated ground wire. According to OYAIDE, it was designed as a higher-spec, lower-cost version of the PA-2075 RR V2 turntable cable, and it is aimed at DJ use. MM cartridges are recommended.

Construction

A single-core shielded design: two shielded cables run in parallel with the ground wire between them. The conductor is high-purity oxygen-free copper (OFC), 20 AWG, with reverse concentric stranding. Insulation is HDPE, the shield is an OFC braid, and the sheath is PVC. The ground wire is OFC, 23 AWG.

Flat Design

The internal shielding stabilizes the conductor and insulation and reduces noise, and the flat design is meant to limit changes in signal loss, impedance and capacitance when the cable is bent. The green-and-white d+ classB look is easy to spot in dark club or DJ booth settings.

Plugs

The RCA plugs and the Y-terminal (spade) for the ground wire are 24K gold plated.
