Description

The OYAIDE HS-CF is a lightweight headshell with a 17-layer carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) shell, supplied with pre-installed HSR-AG 5N pure silver lead wires.

CFRP Shell

The 4.0 mm shell is molded in one piece from 17 layers of CFRP, avoiding adhesive bonding that could disturb vibration. The socket is aluminum with press-fit resin insulation, and the contact pins are gold-plated brass.

HSR-AG Lead Wires

The lead wires are 0.2 mm 5N pure silver, 7-strand (0.2 sq), with double silk insulation and a glass fiber sleeve, which Oyaide says reduces static charge during analog playback. The tips are rhodium-plated phosphor bronze.

Mounting Hardware

M2.6 brass screws (7 mm x 2, 12 mm x 2) and M2.6 brass nuts (x 2) are included. The cartridge is not included.
