Description

The OYAIDE L/i15 EMX V2 is an audio-grade figure-8 (glasses-type, C7) power cable, commonly used with TVs, streaming devices, game consoles, Blu-ray players and mini-systems. It is the first L/i series cable to use OYAIDE's 102 SSC precision conductor.

Conductor

The 102 SSC conductor is 0.75sq (7/21/0.08) × 4 in a star-quad structure, which OYAIDE says lowers inductance and cancels magnetic fields to reduce noise. Only virgin copper is used, drawn through diamond dies with a tolerance of ±1μm (standard ±8μm), in OYAIDE's 3E structure of different strand diameters, annealed twice, with a conductivity of 102.3% IACS.

Insulation and Sheath

Each core is insulated with reinforced silicone rubber and wrapped in a Tetron sleeve containing carbon, which forms a semiconductor layer to prevent static buildup. The conductors are grouped into 7 units to limit wire distortion. The outer sheath is a Tetron sleeve (inner) with a PET sleeve (outer), and the outer diameter is 7.5mm.

Plug and Connector

The plug and compact glasses-type connector are two-layer molded in PP resin and lead-free PVC. The electrodes are phosphor bronze (female) and brass (male) plated with 2μ silver and 0.3μ rhodium, with double feather contacts. The compact connector fits into recessed inlets.

102 SSC: Special Surface Copper, OYAIDE's precision copper conductor. It is made from virgin copper refined in Japan, with no recycled copper used. The conductor surface is specially smoothed using natural diamond dies, allowing extremely precise wire drawing with a diameter tolerance of approximately ±1μm.
