Description

The OYAIDE PA-02 TX V2 is an entry-level XLR interconnect cable (sold as a pair) with silver-plated Switchcraft XLR plugs, suitable for both audio equipment and professional gear.

Conductor

The 102 SSC conductor is 0.75sq (19 strands, 3E twist). OYAIDE states that only virgin copper is used, peeled to remove 100% of surface impurities and drawn through natural diamond dies with a tolerance of ±1μm (standard ±8μm). The patented 3E stranding combines three strand diameters to raise density and keep the cross-section round. The conductor is annealed twice and has a conductivity of 102.3% IACS.

Structure

A 2-conductor shielded cable with 120Ω impedance, suitable for analog signals and for digital (AES/EBU) signals. Insulation is foamed polypropylene. The shield is 102 SSC (24 groups of 8 strands, 0.12mm) with 80% braid coverage, and the sheath is OYAIDE's audio-dedicated halogen-free sheath (outer diameter 8.0mm, EU RoHS compliant).

Plugs and Solder

Switchcraft XLR plugs with silver-plated contacts. Soldering uses OYAIDE SS-47 lead-free silver solder, with tin purity of 99.993% (4N) or higher, 4.7% silver and 1.7% copper, and a eutectic point of 217°C.

102 SSC: Special Surface Copper, OYAIDE's precision copper conductor. It is made from virgin copper refined in Japan, with no recycled copper used. The conductor surface is specially smoothed using natural diamond dies, allowing extremely precise wire drawing with a diameter tolerance of approximately ±1μm.
