Description

The OYAIDE PA-2075 RR V2 is a phono cable with RCA plugs at both ends, for connecting a turntable to a phono stage or amplifier. It is the successor to the original PA-2075 and uses Oyaide's precision 102SSC conductor.

Conductor and Construction

Two parallel single-core shielded wires with the ground line between them use 102SSC conductors of 0.5sq (AWG20) with Oyaide's patented 3E stranding, with foamed polyethylene as filler. The signal lines are insulated with PFA fluoroplastic.

Ground Wire

The ground wire is newly a silver-plated copper wire, and its cross-section has been increased from 0.18sq to 0.3sq to improve grounding.

Shielding and Jacket

The shield combines a carbon-containing layer with a horizontally wound 102SSC shield. The outer jacket is an audio-specific halogen-free sheath.

Plugs and Solder

The RCA plugs are brass with rhodium plating and fluorine resin insulation, and the spade connector is brass with rhodium plating. All connections are soldered with Oyaide's lead-free SS-47 silver solder.

102SSC: Oyaide's precision copper conductor. Only virgin copper conforming to JIS C1011, with no recycled copper, is used. Surface impurities are removed 100% by peeling, the wire is drawn with natural diamond dies to a tolerance of ±1μm, and it is annealed twice. Conductivity: 102.3% IACS.
