Description

The OYAIDE SWO-GX ULTIMO is an audio wall outlet with phosphor bronze blade receptacles and 24K gold plating. According to OYAIDE, it delivers a warm sound.

Note: This is a grounded (3-pin) wall outlet for use in the United States and Japan. It is not suitable for EU, UK or other socket types. Installation and removal must be done by a licensed electrician.

Blade Receptacles

The blades are deoxidized phosphor bronze with a polished surface and a 20A-compatible structure. They are polished twice (machine barrel polishing, then hand buffing) and finished with 2.0μ 24K gold plating. Holding force is rated at 7 kg or more.

Body and Band

The chassis is high-rigidity PBT resin with 30% glass filler, with a body weight 40% higher than the previous version. Tighter machining keeps the blades and body in close contact to reduce unwanted vibration, and the internal layout was designed using load-distribution simulation. The mounting band is 1.5mm thick 24K gold-plated brass.

Screws and Wiring

All screws are stainless steel. The maximum cable size is 5.5sq, and the blade-to-cable pull strength is over 30 kg. The outlet is completely non-magnetic, and all materials comply with the EU RoHS directive.
