Description

The SUPRA ZAC TOSLINK, distributed in Japan by SAEC, is an optical digital cable with TOSLINK plugs at both ends, built around SUPRA's "Zero Attenuation Concept" (ZAC) fiber tip design.

Fiber

High-end plastic optical fiber with an age-resistant core. SUPRA states that the ZAC fiber tip design eliminates divergence loss, and a patented 3-step polishing process is used for the fiber tip.

Plugs and Use

TOSLINK plugs with a spring-loaded clamp for a secure connection and molded strain relief. The cable is lightweight and flexible, is immune to magnetic, electromagnetic and electrical noise, and provides complete galvanic isolation between connected devices. It is rated for 32-bit/384 kHz digital transmission.
