Description

The SONY MDR-CD900ST is a closed-back, wired studio monitor headphone developed jointly by Sony and Sony Music Studios. It was originally developed for CBS Sony's Shinanomachi studio and has been sold to consumers since 1990.

Driver

A proprietary 40 mm dome-type driver with a CCAW voice coil, aimed at low distortion and high resolution for monitoring.

The frame and covers are reinforced for studio durability, and the rated maximum input is 1,000 mW.
