Description

The Kalita WDC-185 and WDC-155 are copper Wave drippers made in Japan and designed for use with Kalita Wave Filter KWF-185 and KWF-155.

Crafted from copper, the WDC series offers excellent heat conductivity, helping maintain a stable brewing temperature during hand drip coffee preparation. Its elegant copper finish also gives it a premium, classic appearance that pairs beautifully with a home coffee setup.

Each dripper is carefully polished by skilled craftsmen. The final polishing process is carried out with great attention to detail, creating a brilliant finish that reflects the quality of Japanese metalworking craftsmanship.

The flat-bottom Wave Zone helps hot water spread evenly through the coffee grounds, even if the pour is slightly uneven. This supports a more stable and balanced extraction.

The dripper also features Kalita’s signature three-hole design. Because the brewed coffee does not remain in the filter and Wave Zone for too long, it helps reduce the extraction of unwanted bitterness and off-flavors, allowing the clean and pleasant flavors of the coffee to come through.

The dripper is part of Kalita’s Made in TSUBAME series. Tsubame, Japan, is known for its high-quality metalworking craftsmanship, making this dripper a refined choice for coffee lovers who appreciate both brewing performance and Japanese manufacturing quality.

Designed for Kalita’s Wave brewing method, it works with the flat-bottom Wave Filter 185 to support smooth and even extraction.
