Description

The OYAIDE HSR-102 is a set of four headshell lead wires and the successor to the discontinued HSR-CU. It combines a precision 102 SSC conductor with a super-flexible special resin insulation, which Oyaide says reduces static buildup while improving flexibility.

Conductor and Insulation

The 102 SSC conductor is rope-stranded (3/20/0.08 mm, 0.3 sq) for easier handling. The insulation is a super-flexible special resin, and the cable diameter is 1.4 mm.

Terminals

Phosphor bronze shell lead tips with 24K gold plating and insulating tubes on the tips. The wires are attached by solderless crimp.

102 SSC: Oyaide's precision copper conductor. Only virgin copper conforming to JIS C1011, with no recycled copper, is used. Surface impurities are removed 100% by peeling, the wire is drawn with natural diamond dies to a tolerance of ±1μm, and it is annealed twice. Conductivity: 102.3% IACS.
